Appointment Policy

GAH operates primarily by appointment in order to allow our doctors to give each patient the time and undivided attention that he or she deserves. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority (which is why an occasional appointment delay is inevitable), but please understand that we make every effort to see each patient at the time their appointment is scheduled.

For your convenience, drop-off appointments are available. Typically we ask that you drop your pet off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon or evening. This allows our doctors to examine your pet in between appointments. Often the doctor will call you after the examination to go over findings and recommended treatments.

If you are unable to schedule an appointment prior to arriving at our hospital, our doctors will see you as soon as possible. Please understand that scheduled appointments have top priority unless we feel that it is an emergency situation.

For the safety of all animals, we recommend that your pets be placed on a leash or in a pet carrier prior to entering our waiting room.

Payment Policy:

Full payment is required at the time a service is rendered. In order to focus on our patient’s needs and customer service, as well as to minimize costs, we do not bill. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash and personal checks.

We understand that sometimes unexpected emergencies can happen. For your convenience we also accept CareCredit. It takes just a few minutes to complete an application and, if approved, will allow you to break down your payment into monthly installments.
